Bangalore Palace is a wonderful destination to visit and is around 200 kilometres from the city. One of the best historical sites to see is the Bangalore Palace, which was once owned by Rev. J. Garrett. In 1873 AD, Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar purchased the entire fort from Garrett because he needed a place to stay while he was undergoing instruction in Bengaluru. The palace underwent extensive reconstruction beginning in April 1874 and was finished in 1878.
